70mm Blow Up
2001

  Updated 26-01-2010
Title Format Opening Sound Studio Notes
Pearl Harbor Panavision June 21 (Japan) DTS Buena Vista Int’l 70mm-DTS print prepared for the Japan premiere (US premiere and release in 35mm). The one-screening-only event held at the Tokyo Dome was in 8-channel DTS, via the company’s special venue audio format (so as to preserve the 8-channel sound mix originally created for selected 35mm-SDDS screenings). “Pearl Harbor” was the first non-special venue feature film to utilize the DTS-8 format.  US 35mm release: May 25.
