70mm Frames. Press to enlarge
We have just completed a test for Jim Cameron converting 24fps to 48fps
SDS-70. Via computer software we actually
create "in-between frames" which allows for a significant reduction in
motion artifact and strobing on the screen.
It also gives us the ability
like Imax DMR to reformat a conventional film and repurpose to SDS-70.
This process really improves the look of a feature far better than even
Imax! And since we are widescreen we don't have to recompose the aspect
ratio like Imax does on widescreen content.
