Once we get the magnetic master final mix of "Vertigo" from the filmmaker, we will transfer it to a DTS master disc. That master disc will be screened with the print and once approved, it will be mass produced. The number of production movie disc is determined by the films distributor, but it will most likely match the number of prints made.

The film will open in New Yorks Ziegfeld Theatre 4 October 1996 in DTS 70mm. It will also be shown in Washington, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

A portable DTS 70mm system will probably be loaned to Universal Pictures and will travel with "Vertigo" says DTS spokeswoman, Karen Hultgren.
