following is a reference / historical listing of the 70-millimeter
engagements of “Paper Tiger” in North America. These were the cinemas worth
seeking out to experience the best presentation of this motion picture. “Paper Tiger” was among four confirmed first-run films released in 1975 with 70mm prints for selected engagements. The Joseph E. Levine Presents, Inc. release — directed by Ken Annakin (“Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines,” “Battle of the Bulge”) and starring David Niven, Toshiro Mifune and Hardy Kruger — premiered November 5th.
